  • Collect and analyze real-world workload performance/power data in collaboration with software and system teams.
  • Characterize power/performance profiles and evaluate power control algorithms.
  • Lead modeling, forecasting, and autonomy optimization processes.
  • Define and develop scripts and tools for system modeling and analysis.
  • Maintain tools and models used for power validation and testing.
  • Characterize power and performance across hardware/software features.
  • Analyze results to reduce energy consumption and improve system efficiency.
  • Specify and document system power management and user behavior.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional software and hardware teams.
  • Draft internal and external system specifications.
  • Influence system performance design decisions.
  • Handle other technical tasks as needed.
Required QualificationsEducation
  • Engineering Degree or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, bash, or Python (strongly valued).
  • Experience in power system design, digital/analog/mixed circuits, high-speed communication, programmable logic, or wireless systems is a plus.
  • Background in energy modeling and eco-efficient system design is a plus.
  • Scripting, lab measurement, debugging, and PCB commissioning experience.
  • Familiarity with standard lab tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum/logical analyzers).
  • Strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and script development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Creativity, rigor, curiosity, and passion for learning.
  • Strong integrity, confidentiality, and service mindset.
  • Fluent in French. English is an asset.
